The Islamic Society of Eggonland run academic bursary scheme for indigent and gifted Muslim students of Eggon extraction .ISE scholarship was introduced in 2015, and already several students have benefitted from it. The monetary award goes to University, Polytechnic, and Monotechnic students within and outside Nigeria. The beneficiaries of this scheme are categorized into four, namely:
1. Merit Applicant(s)
The beneficiary of the above category is chosen based on excellent performance on papers and interview. It is a bursary for meritorious and distinguished applicants that secured admission with good O’level results , and did credible well in our interview for scholarship.
2. Less Privileged Applicant(s)
The beneficiaries under this category are applicants from extreme poor background that got admissions in higher institutions. The applicant is expected to have admission at hand and with good O’level results.
3. Special Females Offer
ISE offer automatic scholarship to female candidates for MBBS (medicine) in any University so admitted. ISE also, give scholarship preference to female candidate that has the admission’s requirement to read Nursing/Midwifery programmes.
4. Higher Islam Applicant(s)
ISE has biased on bursary award to applicant that got admission in School of Higher Islamic Studies. The applicant of Eggon background that was given admission in this school shall be automatically considered.
Methods of Application
i. All applicants MUST express interest through filling of ISE scholarship form online.(islamicsocietyofeggonland.dev)
ii. Applicant is to submit online completed ISE scholarship form with his/her admission letter(s), school fees status or payment receipt, indigene certificate, and one recent passport photograph.
